The Perfect Couple

The moon shining The stars glistening The air crisp The night creeps
I sit here watching As two people are dancing Like two lovebirds Gazing into each other's eyes, no words said
This moment they share Dancing with no cares Holding onto this precious moment All the signals have been sent
I can't believe I am here So beautiful, I feel the tears To see such a couple I don't dare say an utter
To be one to feel that love To know all that love To be two as one Dancing under a moon
The feeling is so intense To you, does this make sense? Hence I have lost the words Now there's a first
They dance so beautifully They belong together, see? But something needs to be cleared Someone needs to disappear
Like the Cinderella story I wipe my tears with worry You ask why? To explain, I try not to cry
You see that man? He is mine See that woman? She's my best friend
So now, You see, ah-ha! This is my dilemma I need to set him free This burden needs to be relieved
He will linger within me, along with the hurt He will always be my sweetheart To him, I answer the "WHY"s Finally, I say my goodbyes
